The contemporary Croatian fine artist, painter Vlado Tuđa, is the author of an impressive oeuvre of oil and acrylic on large canvas and cardboard formats, the creator of an astonishing world, both figurative and non-figurative, but always extremely colouristic, fierce, untwisted.
Tuđa is served with numerous motifs, recognizable or hidden, mysterious, with a message.
In a series of cycles with characters, figures who live their miraculous lives in his lively, joyful paintings, the painter portrays his surroundings, individuals he knows or those he does not like, paints fictional faces, derived from stories and memories.

Painter Vlado Tuđa has been working more intensively than ever in recent months. He himself says that the illness is to blame, which forced him from his studio back to his apartment , to be cared for by his wife , and he admits that he was saved by the fact that his doctor did not forbid him from painting during the time he had to rest due to heart surgery.

Even after 60 years of active and passionate painting and continuous exhibition in the world’s best galleries, prominent contemporary Croatian fine artist, painter Vlado Tuđa, did not tire of painting, did not tire of painting, still working diligently and vigorously every day in the studio, adding to the already imposing and very numerous works of oil and acrylic on canvas and cardboard in a large format of new paintings, enriching his complex work.

Painter Vlado Tuđa, after New York and the Zvonimir Gallery in Zagreb, continues with the exhibition of works gathered under the title “Dialogues” at the Zagrebačka Banka branch in Varaždin on Kapucinski Square. The exhibition, which will open on November 3, is a kind of modernist cross-section of the last few years of the author’s work. The author will present around 25 works made using mixed media, as well as several sculptures. Although Tuđa’s interest in sculpture seemed like just an excursion, it is a very important part of his oeuvre.

“Follow Me” is the name of the exhibition with a message about the emotions that inhabit the artist’s world.

– The exhibition in New York is the crown of my creation, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that cannot be missed – painter Vlado Tuđa told us just before his trip to New York, where he is exhibiting at the prestigious Icosahedron gallery in Manhattan from April 2 to 23. , at the international exhibition of paintings called “A Foot in the Grave”.
